Rye Brook Firefighters present a check to the MDA

Rye Brook Firefighters present a check for $3000.00 to Jen Taylor of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Rye Brook Firefighters with help from the brothers of the Greenburgh Uniformed Firefighters Local 1586, held a Fill The Boot at the Rye Brook Shopping Plaza in October to raise funds for MDA. I would like to send our sincere thanks to Eugene Malone IV, Robert Mentrasti, Tim Mentrasti and Dan Lester of Local 1586. In the picture are Jen Taylor from MDA and Rye Brook Firefighters Skip Harrison, Larry Fraher, Chris Calamari, Ron Benson and Captain Pudgy.

As of March 28,2006 the Rye Brook Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 4041 is still waiting for the state's Public Relations Board to render a decision.
An improper practice complaint with a request for an injunction was filed last week on behalf of the Rye Brook Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 4041 with the state's Public Employee Relations Board.
